CAM4 Ultimate: What It Is, What It Costs and How to Cancel

Short answer

"CAM4 Ultimate" is not a CAM4 membership. It is Cam4Ultimate (cam4ultimate.net), a separate cam site built on Streamate's platform. CAM4 sends visitors to it from a "Sponsored Content / Premium" block on its own pages. Cam4Ultimate says membership is free: you add a payment method and pay per minute for private chat. CAM4's own paid upgrade is called Gold, and it does not replace tokens.

What is CAM4 Ultimate?

It is a different website called Cam4Ultimate, not a paid tier inside CAM4. CAM4's help centre, its Gold upgrade screen and its billing page never mention an "Ultimate" plan. A help-centre search for "ultimate" returns no articles. The only paid membership CAM4 documents for viewers is Gold.

The name comes from CAM4's own homepage. A row of thumbnails labelled "Sponsored Content" and "Premium" links to cam4.com/cam4ultimate. That address redirects to cam4ultimate.net with a referral code tagged "domain-cam4.com". So CAM4 promotes the site, but it is not the CAM4 you log in to.

How much does CAM4 Ultimate cost?

Cam4Ultimate charges no membership fee. You pay for the time you spend in paid chat. Its site says "Membership is always 100% FREE! A form of payment simply allows you to turn up the heat at any time". It also says that as a Premium member "there are no membership fees, and you'll only pay for time you spend chatting." Each performer sets their own per-minute rate.

Because Cam4Ultimate runs on Streamate's platform, Streamate's published terms are the closest guide to its billing. Those terms say performer rates are shown before you enter a paid room. They describe a free basic membership where a small authorization on your payment method may still appear, and they define GOLD as US$1 each. Review sites give per-minute price ranges for Cam4Ultimate. None of them cite a source, and rates change by model, so we don't repeat them here.

What does CAM4's real membership, Gold, include?

Gold is CAM4's optional paid upgrade. It adds messaging, privacy and viewing features, but it does not replace tokens. CAM4's upgrade screen lists these Gold features:

  • Unlimited private messages to broadcasters. Free accounts get three "Winks" a day to start a conversation, and the site warns about a limit on active conversations.
  • No ads on the site, including video ads on cams.
  • Anonymous tipping and chat, so your username is hidden.
  • Theater Mode, watching several cams at once (Multicam), Peek previews and automatic chat translation.
  • A Gold chat icon and colour, unlimited favourite filters and chat filters.
  • A free Gold Gift and a free Boost each month to give to a broadcaster.
  • Access to a daily Gold Show.

Watching and chatting in public rooms stays free without Gold. CAM4 says "watching and chatting on Cam4 are always 100% free". You still need tokens for tips, gifts and private shows. On CAM4, performers set private-show rates between 6 and 120 tokens a minute.

CAM4 shows the Gold price at checkout, and we could not read it without an account. Some review sites quote a monthly price and a one-time token bonus. Treat those as unconfirmed until you see CAM4's checkout.

Can you pay for Gold with tokens?

Yes, with 125 tokens. CAM4's help centre says you can buy Gold with tokens if you have 125 in your account. To renew, you need at least 125 tokens in your account every month. You may need to turn off "1-Click Checkout" in Payments & Subscriptions to see the token payment option.

How do you cancel CAM4 Gold?

Cancel through the payment company that billed you, or by deleting your CAM4 account. CAM4's billing page sends Gold members to the processor used for the purchase and gives a cancellation link for each one:

Your bank or card statement shows the transaction ID, and the charge appears as GRANITY ENTERTAINMENT, not CAM4. CAM4's help centre also says that deleting your account "automatically" cancels Gold and tells the payment processor to stop future billing. Deletion is permanent, so use the processor route if you want to keep the account.

Cam4Ultimate billing is separate. If you added a card there, manage it in that site's own account settings, not through CAM4. Its Fan Clubs are monthly subscriptions to individual models, and its account area has its own cancel option for them.

Can you get a refund?

CAM4 publishes no refund policy for Gold in its help centre. Its Terms page loads only in a browser, and we could not confirm a refund clause there. For a disputed Gold charge, contact the processor on the billing page first. Keep your transaction ID and cancellation confirmation. CAM4 does document one automatic refund: token tickets for a Group Show are returned if the performer cancels the show, ends it early or leaves for more than five minutes.

Is Cam4Ultimate a scam or a clone? Not in the sense that it steals CAM4 logins. CAM4 itself links to it from its homepage as sponsored content, and both cam4ultimate.net and cam4ultimate.com were registered in 2010. It is still a different site from CAM4, with its own sign-up, its own payment system and dollar-based pricing. CAM4 does not say that your CAM4 tokens or Gold work there. Some review pages call it "counterfeit" or "not legit". The evidence points instead to a Streamate-platform site that CAM4 promotes. Check which site is in your address bar before you enter card details.

Is CAM4 Ultimate (or Gold) worth it?

It depends which one you mean and how you use CAM4.

  • If you only watch public rooms: you need neither. CAM4 public rooms are free with a free account.
  • If you message performers a lot, dislike ads or want to tip anonymously: Gold is the upgrade built for that. Check the renewal price at checkout first.
  • If you want private shows: Gold does not pay for them. Budget tokens on CAM4, or per-minute charges on Cam4Ultimate.
  • If you liked a performer in CAM4's "Premium" row: you are on Cam4Ultimate, a Streamate-platform site. Compare it with Streamate itself before you add a card. Our Streamate review explains its billing.

CAM4 Ultimate FAQ

Is CAM4 Ultimate free?

Cam4Ultimate says membership is free and that you pay only for paid chat time. CAM4 itself is also free to watch. On CAM4, Gold, tokens and Fan Clubs are the paid extras.

Does CAM4 Ultimate include tokens?

No. Cam4Ultimate bills in dollars per minute and uses GOLD credits, and CAM4 does not say its tokens work there. CAM4's own Gold upgrade does not list tokens among its features either. Its monthly extras are a Gold Gift and a Boost.

Is cam4ultimate.net the same as cam4.com?

No. cam4.com is CAM4. cam4ultimate.net (and cam4ultimate.com) is a separate site that CAM4 links to from a sponsored "Premium" block.

What name appears on my statement?

For CAM4 Gold and tokens, CAM4 says GRANITY ENTERTAINMENT. For Cam4Ultimate, the billing name is shown at checkout.
