MyFreeCams App and Mobile Site: How to Use MFC on Your Phone

Short answer

MyFreeCams has no app in the Apple App Store or Google Play, and no official APK. It runs two web apps built for phones: the mobile site at m.myfreecams.com and MFC.APP at app.myfreecams.com (also reachable at mfc.app). You add either one to your home screen from the browser. MyFreeCams says this is because the app stores "do not allow apps containing adult content".

Checked 24 September 2026 against the official MyFreeCams wiki (mobile page last edited 6 August 2026), the MyFreeCams mobile sites and their web app files, the US App Store and Google Play. CamChief did not install either web app on a test device for this guide. The steps below are the ones MyFreeCams documents.

Is there a MyFreeCams app?

Not in the app stores. The official MyFreeCams wiki says: "There is no MyFreeCams Mobile App in the iOS/Android App Stores because they do not allow apps containing adult content. That is why we designed MFC.APP and the MyFreeCams Mobile site to function exactly like an app" (MyFreeCams wiki).

Our store checks on 24 September 2026 agree. A search of the US App Store for "myfreecams" returned no apps, and Google Play's US search showed no MyFreeCams app. What MyFreeCams offers instead are two installable web apps. They open from a home-screen icon like an app, but they are websites, so there is nothing to download from a store.

What is the difference between m.myfreecams.com and MFC.APP?

Both are official, both work with the same MyFreeCams account, and both can be added to your home screen. The MyFreeCams wiki lists them as its "two sites designed for phones/tablets" and calls them "the closest thing to a MyFreeCams Mobile App" (MyFreeCams Mobile wiki page).

The names come from each site's web app manifest, and the redirect is what we saw when we requested myfreecams.com as an iPhone and as an Android phone. MyFreeCams does not say which of the two it considers the main one, so try MFC.APP if the mobile site feels cramped, and the mobile site if MFC.APP misbehaves in your browser.

How do you add MyFreeCams to your home screen?

Open one of the two sites in your phone's browser and use the browser's "Add to Home Screen" option. The MyFreeCams wiki gives these steps:

What can you do on MyFreeCams mobile?

Watching, chatting, tipping, buying tokens and joining paid shows all work from a phone, according to MyFreeCams. Its wiki says "all models broadcasting on MyFreeCams are viewable using the mobile site", and its broadcasting page says private, group and club shows are supported "for both desktop and mobile viewers" (MyFreeCams wiki). MFC.APP's account menu includes Purchase Tokens, and its Friends tab shows your friends, bookmarks and notifications (MFC.APP wiki page).

MyFreeCams also lists some limits worth knowing:

A small video delay. MyFreeCams says the live mobile feed runs 0.5 to 5 seconds behind the chat. The low-bandwidth slideshow mode runs further behind.
Some model tools are desktop-only. Room Helper commands are not supported on the mobile site.
The desktop site is still the primary one. MyFreeCams' technical help says the main site "is designed to work best on a normal desktop or laptop computer" and points phone users to the two mobile sites.

Can models broadcast on MyFreeCams from a phone?

Possibly, but MyFreeCams does not recommend it yet. Its model guide says that with the WebRTC option "you should be able to broadcast from Android and Apple devices", and that "the Model Web Broadcaster is not yet optimized for streaming from phones or tablets" (MyFreeCams wiki). For models who want to use a phone's camera, MyFreeCams' webcam page suggests using the phone as a webcam for a computer, naming the Camo app.

Is the MyFreeCams APK real?

No official MyFreeCams APK exists. MyFreeCams publishes no Android app file. It tells phone users to use its two web apps.

The APK download pages that show up in search results carry MyFreeCams-sounding names on apps from other developers. On 24 September 2026 we saw:

com.randomchat.monkey_omegle_holla_hoppo_coco, "Myfreecams: Live Video Chat", credited to a developer called Lustnight Inc. and described as a random video-chat app;
com.app.mfcfreecams, "MFC Free Cams";
com.myfreecams.myfreecasas.mfc, "MFC App", whose listing describes a body-weight calculator;
com.myfreecameras.live.show, "MyFreeCameras – Private Live Video Show (MOD)", from a developer named "myFreeCameras".

The first three package names now return a "not found" page on Google Play, even though Google still ranks download pages for them. We did not download or analyze these files and make no claim about what they contain. None of them comes from MyFreeCams. Also skip any "MyFreeCams token generator" or modded app that promises free tokens. That is a common scam pattern, and tokens are only sold through your MyFreeCams account.

Only install MyFreeCams from its own websites. The real "app" is m.myfreecams.com or app.myfreecams.com added to your home screen. You never need an APK file, a store download or a third-party installer.

Why is MyFreeCams not in the App Store or Google Play?

Both stores ban sexually explicit apps. Apple's App Review Guidelines (section 1.1.4) prohibit "overtly sexual or pornographic material". Google Play's sexual content policy says: "We don't allow apps on Google Play that contain or promote sexual content". MyFreeCams gives the same reason. Is MFC.APP official?

Yes. MyFreeCams' own wiki documents MFC.APP at app.myfreecams.com and mfc.app, the MyFreeCams homepage links to it as "MFC App", and mfc.app redirects to app.myfreecams.com.

Is there a MyFreeCams app for iPhone?

Not in the App Store. On iPhone, open m.myfreecams.com or mfc.app in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.

Why does myfreecams.com send my phone to m.myfreecams.com?

MyFreeCams redirects phone browsers to its mobile site. When we opened myfreecams.com as an iPhone and as an Android phone, both were redirected to m.myfreecams.com. You can switch to MFC.APP by going to app.myfreecams.com.

Can I open the desktop version of a room on my phone?

Yes, with a model's MFC.im link. MyFreeCams says adding /d to a model's mfc.im link (for example mfc.im/Username/d) opens the desktop chat room "even from a mobile device".

Does the MyFreeCams app cost anything?

No. Adding either web app to your home screen is free, and watching free chat needs no payment. You pay only for tokens, which you spend on tips and paid shows exactly as on the desktop site.
