Sites Like CooMeet: Cheaper, Free and Adult Alternatives

Why do people look for CooMeet alternatives?

Mostly because of the price. CooMeet offers a free trial, but its User Agreement says communication "is carried out on a payment basis". Once your free minutes run out, you buy Premium or extra minutes. CooMeet publishes these prices:

VAT may be added in some countries. CooMeet is run by Gartwell Limited, a company registered in Belize. Men and women have separate account types, so men are matched with women by design. CooMeet says it has "700+ thousand Verified accounts", and its agreement says women must provide passport details. We could not confirm independently how every account is checked. One more thing most comparison pages leave out: CooMeet's own Chat Rules say nudity and sexually explicit material are allowed "only in areas accessible after successful age verification" and are banned in public areas. So some people who look for an alternative actually want something free, and others want something openly adult. The right choice depends on which group you are in.

How do the CooMeet alternatives compare?

The main differences are price, whether the gender filter costs extra, and whether the terms allow adult content at all. Every service below is for adults 18+ only.

Which CooMeet alternatives are free?

Chatroulette and OmeTV are free to use, and Chatrandom, Shagle and CamSurf have free random chat with paid extras. These are general random video chat services. All of them ban nudity and sexual content in their terms. Use them to talk, not for adult chat.

• Chatrandom is the closest free match to CooMeet's "choose who you meet" idea. Random chat is free, and its help centre says gender and location filters need a Plus account. It also has gay chat, local chat and chat rooms that you can use without upgrading. Chatrandom says it uses automated and AI moderation plus user reports. It is run by Small World Media LLC. • Shagle lets you start without an account and pick girls, guys or couples, but its FAQ says the gender and location filters are for premium members. Shagle says it has no iOS or Android app, so you use it in the browser.
• Chatroulette (chatroulette.com) says it is "completely free". It has a country filter and a free in-app currency called Quids. It is run by CR Services AG in Zug, Switzerland, and it has iOS and Android apps.
• OmeTV (ome.tv) is free and lets you choose a country and set your gender. Its rules are among the strictest we read. They forbid appearing naked or in underwear, pointing the camera below the chest, and proposing "virtual sex".
• CamSurf (camsurf.com) keeps things random on purpose. Its FAQ says the only filters are location and language. See sites like CamSurf.

Are Chatspin and Shagle part of CooMeet?

No. Both name Social Media Ventures LLC, a Wyoming company, as their operator, while CooMeet names Gartwell Limited in Belize. Chatspin's site says it is "Operated by Social Media Ventures LLC", and Shagle's privacy policy names the same company. Neither names CooMeet or Gartwell. Chatspin is a free random video chat service with a paid "Plus" tier. Like Shagle, it requires users to be 18+ and bans nudity and sexual conduct.

Several of these services (Chatspin, Shagle, Chatrandom, Flingster, DirtyRoulette and CamSurf) publish almost word-for-word identical terms, and those terms mention partners "that use the same proprietary chat platform". They list four different companies as operators, so we don't treat them as one owner.

What is the best CooMeet alternative for adult video chat?

Flingster and DirtyRoulette are the random-chat sites whose terms allow adult content. For shows by adult performers, an 18+ cam site is the more predictable choice.

• Flingster and DirtyRoulette are two brands on one shared platform. Both privacy policies name Skyline Media LLC, and both terms say the service "may include access to or the ability to share adult-themed or sexually explicit material that is lawful". Basic chat is free. Flingster's FAQ says the gender and location filters come with premium. You are still meeting random strangers, not paid performers. Compare options in sites like Flingster.
• LuckyCrush (luckycrush.com) is the nearest match to CooMeet's model. It matches men with women (and trans people) one-on-one and charges per minute through credits after a few free minutes. Its terms ban pornographic content and non-consensual nudity. Some content is unlocked only after age verification, depending on the laws where you live. It is run by Tech World Entertainment B.V. in the Netherlands.
• Adult cam sites are a different product. Performers are adults broadcasting by choice, and you pay them with tokens for tips and private shows.
